Her The Label Swimwear - Au Courant Daily

Designed and produced in Australia by Sydney-born Tuyen Nguyen, Her the Label launched in 2014 with a selection of impeccably made swimwear across key silhouettes. The delicate bralettes - seen above in black with a gauzy mesh insert - and the plunging maillots are clear standouts.

As are the monotones used on each piece; the debut collection featured cooler shades of blue, pink and nudes, sans patterns, detailing or decoration of any sort. The SS2016 range follows suit, bringing a visual contast with deep greens, royal blues, and bright orange hues normally associated with more autumnal styling, yet well-suited for bright swimming days.

Clearly one of those rare, minimalist brands that feel as if it's been around forever, its understated appeal comes directly from a visual identity and aesthetic that is both clear and strong. Simple lowercase branding differenciates it from other, equally minimalist labels, but the true marker of distinction has to be the quality of the materials used across production, even at such an intimate scale by a young brand.

The paperweight on each hang tag is robust, with a slight embossing across the front and back, and is well suited to double-faced and padded swimwear made from the finest Italian woven Lycra for added SPF protection and easy drying, post-swim.
